AIL Group’s two brand ambassadors Irish TV Chef Rachel Allen, ambassador to O’Briens Cafe and Irish Mentalist Keith Barry, ambassador to Abrakebabra, officially launched the latest tasty offering from the AIL Group at the Maxol Service Station at N7 Kill, Co. Kildare on Wednesday, 8th of February 2017, marking the Group’s 130th outlet in Ireland.
Feeding the nation for nearly four decades, the latest offering from the AIL Group will allow customers to sit back, relax and embrace the ‘Oasis of Taste’ food hall concept from the groups instantly recognizable brands on offer including Abrakebabra, Bagel Factory and O’Briens Sandwich Café. ‘The Oasis of Taste’ offers an unrivalled diversity of quality food for every age group, allowing customers to refresh and refuel (car and body!). Annually over 8 million people enjoy the quality food available from the three AIL Group brands*. The ‘Oasis of Taste’ food offering is currently on trial at three Maxol Service Stations including Templeogue, Castlebar and now N7 Kill.
Licensees of the service station Jason and Rachel McMullan said at today’s launch “Maxol purchased this service station back in the summer of 2016 and has invested over €750,000 in refurbishing and introducing a new food service range, along with upgrading the forecourt facilities. The new food offering has been a huge hit with our customers since we launched on December 18th, 2016. We now have a wide range of food options for our customers for each part of the day delivered with commitment and service. We have 28 full and part time staff working at the service station. It’s a very exciting time for us”.
David Zebedee of AIL Group, which won Franchisor of the Year 2016 at last years Franchise of the Year Awards, said in Maxol N7 Kill “We are continually looking at new ways of bringing our food offer to the Irish public. Over the next 3 years, we estimate that we will be able to create 300 new jobs as we roll out in new locations across the country. In addition to our trials with Maxol, our expansion plans include opening a further 30 new stores nationwide including high street locations, shopping centres and rail stations.”
Keith Barry who lives in Kildare said, “I have a soft spot for the Abrakebabra nude box and now I find myself accidentally on purpose stopping at this particular garage on my way home!” Whilst Rachel Allen who has worked with AIL in creating the most tasty of soups and sandwiches for O’Briens Sandwich Café said “its a very exciting move for the brand and I am looking forward to my new range of salad bowls being available here shortly at this Maxol service station station and other O’Briens outlets around the country”.
